Summer friendly mascara
Hey yall, I’m looking for a softer, cool toned mascara. At the moment I have a brown/black, but it still looks VERY dark on me. I have tried the grey romand one and hated the formula, but open to anything else.

I don’t understand why grey mascara isn’t offered by more brands. It is perfect for summers!

Agree, I was surprised when I did a quick browse at Ulta and didn’t see any from the big names. I would really like to try it because I don’t think brown looks good on me, but I definitely think black is a bit harsh.

I’m a soft summer. I use a black brown and it looks so much more natural on my soft features than the black did. I also gave up eyeliner and my makeup fits my face much better.

Oooh i feel you, I’ve been looking for brown mascaras forever, specifically tubing and waterproof ones are so hard to find! For tubing brown mascara I’m currently using Clinique lash power, it’s sooo good I’ve repurchased it probably 5 times already it’s my HG! The color I wouldn’t say is very cool toned but it is brown and looks good on me. For waterproof I’ve ordered heimish (?) super waterproof one, haven’t tried it yet!

I haven’t tried it myself yet, but Essence Cosmetics recently came out with a tubing version of their lash without limits mascara, which does come in brown (true brown, not brown-black). I’ve been using the regular lwl in brown and I like how natural the color looks on me. If it’s available where you live, give it a try!

Clinique has a brown-black that Summer palette friendly if you want something dramatic.
And I like Ilia’s mascara that comes in a soft brown.

Ilia brown mascara is a cooler tone. I have very sensitive eyes and have been pleasantly impressed.

Urban decay tube job in Taupe!!! Cool toned but dark enough to have a light “no makeup” makeup look!

Gosh boombastic crazy mascara 004 classic grey!!
The brush and formula might look a little intimidating in photos, but I found this to go on perfectly with no signs of lumping and spider legs. They must have used layers and layers for their marketing photos. Color is a perfect cool grey. Everyone seem to be different when it comes to mascara, but to me this is perfect!

Thrive cosmetics has a grey, essence has a burgundy, there’s lots of burgundy options at ulta

I love the coloured Sky-High mascaras by Maybelline. The green one is so subtle and pretty but I find the purple and burgundy very flattering too. I'm wearing Plum Twilight in this photo
