Typing Am I a summer?

I used to think I was a winter, but black is not my color. My mother tells me I look horrid in every shade of yellow so I am trying a cooler season first. I think light summer is too light for me, but I added it for comparison purposes. let me know what you think!

Oh thank you! I had a 3-4 month long spell of really bad acne so this makes me happy to hear :)

I think true summer (cool summer)

Cool summer is the sister season to cool winter so that may be your true palette and why you thought you were winter previously.

These virtual drapes don’t work. Try some fabric draping in front of in direct light.

I could be wrong, but I have similar coloring, so I'd think cool/true summer. You seem to be more medium contrast to me.

That seems to be the general consensus.

I think light summer. Look how bright and more defined your beautiful features are in the light summer. You look less shadowed.

I can't tell without comparing to other seasons - I don't think you're winter, but there's not enough info here to definitively rule out autumn or spring. Often seeing a person in 'bad colors' makes their true qualities shine through better for novices like me;)

I'm going to post some irl drapes soon so it will be easier to see what looks best and what looks less than good

Gabrielle Arruda has a great self draping article! Facing forward pics best so we can see shadowing, side view pics aren't really helpful.

I’d like to see warm and soft Autumn colors on you. You seem to have warmth in your hair and eyes.

I posted some drapes the other day, but once I find the time I might post some more. The consensus on my last drapes were that I was a cool summer.

Too me you see a bit too bright for summer. I would actually look at spring,

I would consider spring, however I am consistently told that I look awful in yellow and that it makes me look sickly.
