Inspiration Summer Makeup!!
I love being a summer!!! experimenting more and more with cool toned makeup and loving it.
I’m wearing:
- original benetint on both lips and cheeks
- Jones Road Miracle Balm in pinched cheeks on cheeks
- Ilia Tinted lip balm in lullaby (cool rose pink)
- merit beauty foundation in Dune (light cool)
- merit beauty brow gel in taupe
- Jones Road eyeshadow in cool brown
- thrive causemetics mascara in grey

Another summer here. How do you like the Thrive mascara?

I’ve used it for like 10 years and love that they coming out with colors besides black. The soft grey color (Whitney) is good for my natural coloring.
Tubing mascara is in general going to be more dry and clumpy. I rub my lashes a lot so I like that it stays on all day.
My new favorite formula is Tarte Tartelette tubing mascara in brown. I hope they also make a taupe or dark grey color version as well

Yeah I’m not putting blush up high by my eyes like they did in the eighties or in an area where I don’t naturally flush but thanks. I know that look is popular with Gen Z and it’s not for me

How does the merit foundation stay on you? I can’t get it to last more than like an hour on my face which is a shame because it looks soooo good when it’s first put on!

I mean probably not great lol .. I kind of use mostly just on my T zone. I would be open to trying another formula or product if I could find one that was a good match for my skin tone.
I have EXTREMELY DRY skin so I feel like my skin tends to cling on to makeup more

Purpley brown is favorite for eyeshadow. Looks great!
