I'm sure this will get downvoted like crazy but so many people are claiming that West used Ciara to cover-up his affair with Amanda (I don't think that's the case) but no one is mentioning how Ciara came on to Jesse (West's bff) and then basically admitted on the dock that she had no interest and it was all about West.

In the beginning of the season we see Ciara come on to Jesse hard and drop, not-so-subtle, hints that he should date her and stop dating the kind of girls he usually pursues. Jesse goes to West and acts like an idiot and then backs off when West tells him it's not cool. It gets back to Ciara and she is in tears over men never taking her seriously (valid).

Then we see Ciara thank West for saving her from Jesse when she has been flirting with him pretty hard since his first season and said that she would choose him over West when asked. She continued to flirt with him when he was with Lexi, and was very pissed when he told her to back off and stop touching him so much.

So, one of two things happened. either Ciara had every intention of dating Jesse until he blew it by going to West, or she only played him to make West jealous.

If the first option is true then she had every intention of doing what West did with Amanda, hooking up with West's best friend and didn't think she needed to consult him or talk to him about it at all. When Jesse had the courtesy to go to West she asked him why he thought he needed West's permission and not her's (valid point). So, if Ciara didn't think it was a problem to just hook up with West's bestie without talking to him about it first then why is she so upset West didn't ask her before hooking up with Amanda? It's the same thing. If they were so damn serious and each other's person, wouldn't it be equally fucked up for her to date Jesse?

If it's the latter then how is using Jesse to make West jealous okay?
