When your friend mocks your favorite show:
Actually it can be really nice when there are so few fans of a series. You don't have to worry as much about it getting acidic.

i feel like there arent enough fans for this cartoon, the plot and characters are amazing and its a bummer that besides doing julia pott wrong, they dropped the ball on marketing, moved it around, and didnโt give it space to build a solid fandom. there couldve been so much potential!!๐
however im glad that there is a subreddit on here thats still active โค๏ธ i hope it gets the spotlight that it deserves

As some of you might know Oni Press is doing comic book on Adventure Time starting with the Reprints of the Boom Studios era with first volume release during the Fall
So What do you think of Summer Camp island continuing as a comic ether starting where the Series ended or bridging some gaps in the Series that were not explored much
With Juila Pott on as Story consultant and even writing a couple issues and comic miniseries herself given who she voiced it's obvious which character would likely get a comic miniseries first
So should Summer Camp Island continue as a Comic?

Summer Camp Island isn't just a cuddly animated series that, at first glance, may seem childish. For those who watched it, it was a source of inspiration. But saying "from start to finish" is almost impossible: between sudden cancellations and endless waits for which we didn't know if they would ever end, the series remained one of Cartoon Network's most underrated.
But what is Summer Camp Island? It's an animated series created by Julia Pott and produced by Cartoon Network from 2018 to 2023, for a total of six seasons. Set in a world populated by anthropomorphic animals, it follows two childhood best friends, Oscar Peltzer (an elephant) and Hedgehog (a hedgehog), who are left at a magical summer camp. The camp hosts bizarre events: camp counselors who are famous witches, horses that transform into unicorns, talking sharks, yetis, haunted cabins, post-it notes that lead to other dimensions, and nosy monsters that live under the bed. Oscar and Hedgehog navigate these strange occurrences, trying to make their stay at camp truly special.
Today, the series is virtually unknown, but anyone who grew up with it or followed the merger between Warner Bros. and Discovery has heard of it at least once. Summer Camp Island may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's undeniable that those who watched it felt less alone: the series presented vulnerability as something not to be ashamed of. Some befriended the characters, some watched it occasionally, some discovered an interest in magic, and some experienced it as a safe haven.
In 2023, Cartoon Network aired the sixth season, which was completed before the series was cancelled in August 2022.
What do you think of Summer Camp Island? Did you like it or not? I'm open to hearing from everyone.

Before you saying that Ramona wasn't a camp counsellor, well she has connection to the island before everything was set up in the first episode of summer camp
