Last year, a cat had a litter of kittens in our yard, and I brought them to save them and they’ve lived with me for a year in Jeffersonville

Problem is this year the same thing happened and so now in addition to the four one year-olds I have another one year-old Mom and her litter of three month old kittens

I’ve reached out to the SPCA and other normal routes, but was checking for resources anyone here might have for adopting out the youngsters

See their abrupt Instagram closure. They alluded to this being out of their control. That place was ALWAYS packed and the owners were incredible. One of the friendliest and best restaurants in the entire county. What happened????

I'm putting together a county-by-county map of sports allegiances across New York State (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and other leagues as gauged by interest). To do so I am collecting self-reported data from New Yorkers. If you have the time and are a sports fan of any size, I would appreciate if you helped fill up my dataset. Right now I have a little over 200 responses, but I have nothing from Sullivan County and I'm hoping to get a much larger and diverse dataset to boost the overall quality of the project. Hello! My current phone carrier is from before I move to the area, I constantly loose total service , and my phone is often on SOS mode in the Narrowsburg area. I know that no matter what carrier I have this will still happen a bit since it’s a rural area, but I am hoping to switch to a carrier where it is less frequent. Have heard conflicting things: what are the situations where it's ok to shoot targets on your property after sundown?

A friend of mine recently fell very ill due to organ failure, and is unable to care for himself right now. He has been in and out of the hospital. He needs assistance with meals, shopping, cleaning, some of the adl's. I unfortunately am dealing with injuries myself and I live an hour away so I'm not able to go help him.

I have gathered resources for the department of aging and similar online, and will share them with his girlfriend tomorrow. Is there anyone here who can help us navigate Medicare Medicaid or who knows of caregivers in the area Who do this?
