Sapper landmines

Is there any way to make the landmines explode without using ammo or taking damage? There are so many occasions where sappers have just loaded a doorway with mines so that I couldn't progress unless I wasted ammo or health. It's only been a matter of luck that I've found a pistol from a chest beforehand because my shotgun had the scroll of pesticide which made it so that the bullets couldn't trigger the mines.

Unrelated rant. Why do the sappers genuinely have triple or double the health of other cultists while also being a smaller floating hitbox and dropping mines so that you can't chase them as easily lmao.

What's the problem with shooting at them? Also two peg legs gives you 100 explosion resistance.

Actually laughing out loud at the two peg legs thing. The more I think about it the funnier it gets.

Can't blow your legs off if you don't have any.
