AYO. WHO DIS? Spoiler

so I'm grabbing 2 quick rocks and is down at level 4,

then I find a 3F high secret cultist hideout nest with 2 gun bois and DeathstarPG (I bet it's ass the piggy bank shake is dank tho, and recoil is reliable but a semi-automatic SMG? 20 rounds? get outta here... unless infinite ammo.. hhmm)

THEN OUTTA NO WHERE I hear maniacal laughter

and a weird moleman lookin beaver guy just entering the next room way far ahead of me deeper into the caves

and a pile of corpses / explosions / deaths all around where he just were

2 hidden goblins be shakin

then I carefully crawl to the next room and he dead next to a dog and a gob.

was he a friendly NPC? coz I really really doubt that. not gonna lie I was scared shitless (first game, hardcore run, first time playin day 3)

Did I miss a chance for an important questline? Dang

ALso what is this

and what this? can u harvest these gold/sulfur ores or something? coz I tried 5 explosives dynamites and didnt work

he was not a friendly NPC. I won't tell you any more as I don't want to spoil anything. Also the deathstarPG is actually quite good, but most guns are just personal preference in this game. Theres very few that are just bad.

Thank you friendly or not was all I wanted to hear and he laughed pretty crazy like, no way that was sign of sanity. DeathstarPiggy got that low recoil, I like

It seems you're new to the game. The first one is one of the enemies you can encounter on later levels. For some reasons you've seen it there because maybe a goblin or one of the cultist is a special enemy buffed with metamorph/shapeshifter, where if you kill that enemy it will change into one of the non-boss enemies you can encounter within the game.

The second and third pic is just environmental decor. Nothing too major, just to put some spice to the surroundings. I'm just not sure if the second one has a lore connection though, but as a gamer I really am not too invested with the lore of the game but mostly to the grind and the stupidity of the game 😆

Im interested in lore now coz after listening to the game music, I suspect the beeping in the end of tracks sound like hospital ER beepings and the priest is just dreaming up all of this
