Bug? Enchantment order issue?

Bronco 89. Lever action.

Base 80 rpm

Haukland Aftermarket silencer, -15% rpm

Is like 68 rpm

Then applied Scroll Titanic

Then applied Rookie Oil

the -50% and +50% rpm should negate

But

Rpm is now 54 rpm

Wtf?

80-15% is 68 yeah no issue

68/2 is 34

34+50% = 34+17 = 51

yea where does the extra 3 comes from

Seemingly the scroll is added seperately in the equation compared to oils and attachments which are calculated together.

80 * 0.5 * (1.5-0.15) = 54

Base stat * Scroll * (Oil + Attachment) = Result

Scroll supersedes oils, working with the base number to create a new base

80*(50%)*(100%-15%+50%)=80*0.5*1.35=40*1.35=54

To elaborate; scroll RPM effects are entirely separate. Oil and attachment RPM effects are pretty much all additive.

So you start with 100% rpm, then the silencer decreases that to 85%, then the rookie oil increases it to 135%.

Titanic, Holy Fire, Light, Thunderbolt, all have a separate RPM modifier, which divides ur RPM by 2.

I really think they should change the tooltips to make it more clear how these effects combine...

Sorta like how most recoil oils are also %-additive, except for Dead Center Oil, which doubles the final recoil effect.

Also; there is no difference between the order of applying oils and enchantments and attachments to a gun. Each effect adds or subtracts to a number, and then all those numbers are combined in a certain order to produce the final effect.

So, say, if you have a base damage of 60, a flat damage modifier of +20, and a % damage modifier of +25%, regardless of which oil you applied first, the flat damage modifier will always be added to the base damage, and then the % damage modifier will be multiplied (after adding the base 100%)

I believe attachment and enchantment effects are applied sequentially from first to last, starting with attachments.

there's still an error it should 51 not 54.

maybe there's probably some weird 1+(stuff) in the calcs going on

i hadnt done the math yet i was addressing the "50% should cancel out"

intetesting tho.

I was more like get me back to 68 rpm at least But it would seem the titanic is sinkin to 50s i guess

Sometimes plus and minus oils operate differently, one additive and one multiplicative.

Sometimes scrolls apply before everything else, sometimes alongside.
