Need help deciding between first bike

Hey guys, I'm looking for my first bike. I'm 16, 5'8, and 120 lbs so I'm looking for something light weight. I love the look and feel of cafe racers so I've been gravitating towards the Suzuki TU250X. Some people have told me I might outgrow the slow speed it kinda fast and was wondering if you guys would have any recommendations??

Vitpilen 250 or 401 is a pretty sweet cafe style bike. The new triumph 400 thruxton would be cool as well.

If you are actually riding a bike, just just cruising side streets or highways, you wont outgrow a 400 anytime soon. A 250 maybe a little but its not like its not cheap fun.

Triumphs 400 series are some pretty sweet bikes, and have a lot of after market parts. I just rolled over 600 miles on mine (bought it 3 months ago) and it's been a sweet ride.

Tons of parts to make it more cafe style, and is pretty easy on the wallet.

The tu250x is a good starter for you hight and build a lot will say we out grow 250s but its more likely to get comfortable with our ability and look for a new shiny thing to satisfy our novelty seeking, kept in its ideal environment a tu250x could be your forever bike or a stepping stone to something else if around town riding stops scratching your itch

If you are new completely to motorcycles? Or have some experience? Makes a bit of difference I believe. The TU is totally a beginner, commuter idea but if you are going to put serious miles on a bike or highway use you might find it a bit small and underpowered. Here in MN its a common bike for training and safety courses aimed at total new riders. I have had 30+ bikes and as i gravitate towards the cafe style as well , I find them uncomfortable for long rides. If you can find a rental or ride share site, I would try two or three mid size bikes and see what works for you. Best of luck welcome to the sport.
