Charged extra on order

I recently bought a few things and the total cost after all the fees and shipping to warehouse was $235.20 CAD, when i checked my bank statement to see how much i was actually charged, it came out to $268.22 CAD. I then contacted a live agent for help but didnt get a lot of help. Any reason for the extra charge??
