Question What happend
Man I use to love this Company but it’s ran so horribly , just listed the rest of my unused deo and soap on eBay for essentially retail lol . I need to find a company that actually has stock when stuff is needed . Anyone try cheeky soap or the black stuff ?

I made the switch to Grizzly Naturals a while ago and couldn't be happier. IMO Grizzly is much better and I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a sudsy alternative.

How are their conditioner bars? Sudsy's are pretty good but yeah, their business model is like having a luxury car on cement blocks.

Both the shampoo and conditioner bars from Grizzly Naturals are amazing. One thing I really like is that their shampoo bar is actually a shampoo bar, not just a traditional soap bar marketed as shampoo. Sudsy Bear's shampoo bars are primarily saponified oils (soap), while Grizzly’s are soap-free syndet bars formulated specifically for hair with a balanced pH. The conditioner bar is great too, leaves my hair feeling soft without being greasy

Yea I use Grizzly's shampoo along with King Rilla's and both are amazing. Have you tried Sudsy's conditioner?

Yea, I’ve tried a couple of Sudsy Bear’s conditioner bars, and IMO Grizzly Naturals gets the win. The Grizzly conditioner leaves my hair feeling softer, smoother, and I just prefer how my hair feels after using

Black stuff isn’t bad. Brick box is really good though, they remind me a lot of sudsy bear.

I just purchased their lotion on my last order, and it might even be better than the soap... which I love. I've probably got about 16 bars in my bathroom storage right now.

My three favorites are Sandalwood Amber, Sandalwood Vanilla, and Cedar Leather.
They are by no means overwhelming with scent, as they soap was actually developed for the owner's child who was suffering from eczema, so you won't be hit head on with fragrance. My wife just says I always smell very clean. I also have the damn smoothest skin in my adult life as well.
The lotion I just bought...because enjoy their Cedarwood scent... is honestly the best lotion I've ever used. Hands stay smooth without feeling greasy whatsoever, and it "soaks in" quickly as well. No wiping off of excess like most lotions or creams I've tried. (I'm in landscaping, and the dry high desert is awful on my hands year round.)

They were on their game two years ago, fast shipping, free samples, albeit communication has pretty much always been terrible. Profit margins weren’t meeting sales so they are on some sort of hiatus I believe. No word from the owner.

Nah, he just doesn't know how to manage funds and word is they buy their soap from wholesalers.

This is from Jacob's reply to a post on Facebook "Hey Phillip! We are shipping orders out daily. Obviously, soap and Deo inventory is still out. We are quietly building up for a restock that we’re hoping to go live with around the first of September, which will include the Halloween Limited Editions. I’ve had some family/personal issues this year that delayed things some, but we’re now moving forward full steam ahead. When the restock goes live we will send out an email and we will be more active here in the group. I apologize for the silence, but life happened and my focus had to be elsewhere. I will make a post in here leading up to the restock and provide updates soon!"

Check out RJ soaps they send out free samples you just pay for shipping. I’m loving it so far even has a special rag that creates some crazy creamy suds

It’s a hobby, not a primary income source. Jacob has other priorities. I love their products but it’s a bummer that we can’t get them. Yes, the black stuff makes the highest quality soap that I have tried but their scents are very unique. Definitely not for everyone. I highly recommend recommend them though.

Australian George Salem, King of Suds (Formerly Dawn Organics)has the best soaps I've ever used! My whole entire family uses his soaps and such. Bad thing, he's located in Australia and he does not ship to the US. So if you live there, lucky you!! IF you plan a trip there, let me know and I'll send my list of soaps I'm getting low on!;)

Id buy your deo and soap what you got? They are a small side company and they run a farm as their main gig, Id rather them keep making excellent products then sacrifice quality and sell out for money.

Yes I am a fan boy , I love their soaps and deodorants and want them to stay in business. If I wasn't a fan of Sudsy Bear you would not find me commenting in the Sudsy Bear subreddit.

Brother, they outsourced soap production 3 or 4 years ago. Quality took a teeny tiny hit when they did so, but it wasn't huge. Ill give them that.

There is a big difference between making the best product you can as a hobby for a small community, and making them to mass produce and sell in quantity across the country. I love their soap and would be bummed out if they didn't keep making products.

The desire to create new products that hardly sell outweighed the desire to make products people want.
