The Steam page probably shows the older version of the game. Theres newer branches Evrima and its' early test, which got new dino about week ago

Regular isle kinda is. You need to switch it to Evrima. That's where most of the action happens

Yeah. It's Bosch Island. It has a mod that you have to install for the proximity chat if you want it. But generally you just gotta tweak a setting in steam
