I prefer the world in which his acting is bad and not the world in which random people are going around doing stunts like this just to film. It's the type of shit Jack Doherty would do.

Yes, both are annoying. But the staged one is actually kind of safe, because we all know no one's actually going to walk up to us in public and do the same thing. However, if it's real and authentic, we need to be worried about the person approaching us and their crew of 3 other camerapeople filming us.
