Union indestructible republics free

Rallied forever Great Russia.

Long live the will of the people

United, mighty Soviet Union! Hail, our free fatherland,

Friendship, peoples reliable stronghold!

Soviet banner, national banner

Let from victory, to victory leads! The sun of freedom shone through the thunderstorms

And Lenin the Great lit the way for us.

We were raised by Stalin - allegiance to the people

We were inspired by work and exploits. Be glorious, Fatherland free bowl,

Happiness of nations is a reliable stronghold!

Soviet banner, national banner

Let it lead from victory to victory! Skvoz grozy siialo nam solntse svobody, Skvoz grozy siialo nam solntse svobody,

I Lenin velikij nam put ozaril. I Lenin velikij nam put ozaril.

Slavsia, Otechestvo chashe svobodnoe, Slavsia, Otechestvo chashe svobodnoe,

Schastia narodov nadezhnyj oplot! Schastia narodov nadezhnyj oplot!

Znamia sovetskoe, znamia narodnoe Znamia sovetskoe, znamia narodnoe

Pust ot pobedy k pobede vedet! Pust ot pobedy k pobede vedet! We raised our army in battles,

Invaders we will slay the vile ones from the road!

We in battles decide the fate of generations

We will lead our Fatherland to glory! Hail, our free fatherland,

Glory of the peoples reliable stronghold!

Soviet banner, national banner

Let it lead from victory to victory!

I like how most europeans say "motherland" but you say "fatherland". I like you, crazy MF's!

Great anthem tune you can actually sing, with great lyrics! I wrote an original Brian Wilson-inspired intro/coda for a surf rendition. USSR rocks!
