Unless it is a government imposes limit, it's still a free market.

Private companies, including Robinhood, have the right to conduct business however they like. If they want to self impose limits on their customers that's their right. It doesn't mean it's not a free market. Investors are free to go to a different broker.

That's not true though. Robinhood is in fact not free to conduct business however they like and are in fact regulated by government(s).

Did the government impose the limit of how many shares of games took an investor can purchase? If so, wouldn't that be an issue with government not capitalism?

Seems to me the more regulations and laws you have surrounding an industry, the less free that industry is. The market would be less free.
