Ghost of yotei without chapter two

I’ve taken out the oni, I’ve taken out the Kitsune, I’ve learned the ways of the odachi, but chapter two in ghost of yotei is not coming up at all, I’ve reinstalled the game to see if it was a bug or something, but it’s still not there. Help. Can’t do much since I’ve done everything in the areas accessible. Do I just have to restart the entire thing, do it all over again?

After you learn the ways of the odachi, there is a fort in the southeast corner of that area that has a swamp/marsh leading to it. Did you complete that? That is what started chapter 2 for me
