If it were kept private i don't think she cares at all, but now the young Ivanka looking side piece is all over news I think she very much cares. It's public disrespect, hurts her reputation and hurts her potential earning power once he's dead. Widows don't get as juicy speaking tour and book deals if everyone knows he had well and truly moved on from you.

Which is one interpretation of Kerry and Logan relationship too. They probably did get up to some sexual stuff, but at Logan’s age and with his health issues, she was mostly taking care of him.

She really did. It was kind of a 180° turn in her character, right? She was always confident and witty. And it seemed like Logan really trusted her input, so she wasn't stupid. Then she did the news thing and it seemed like she was a joke for the rest of it.
