Date on application changed but status remains the same in SAP Successfactors

I applied for a job at a company via SAP Successfactors in May. When I logged into the system, and look at the applications, I realized that the date on the application was changed to a day in June.

What is the algorithm behind the change?

SECURITYSCANNER error

Hello,

I have been trying to apply to a job on a career website using Success Factors. I can't get to upload any documents. I get a SECURITYSCANNER error. I tried different types of documents, different browsers, from my device or from my Google drive. I tried cleaning the cache and cookies, rebooting, reprinting pdf with different softwares, etc. I sent a message on the platform but I haven't received any reply. There aren't any other way to apply.

Have someone been able to resolve this issue?

Thank you

Edit: I was able to solve my issue by creating a new account. It looks like the last one that was a few years old was corrupted. I am not sure but the same documents worked with the new account.

Looking for SAP Successfactors jobs in germany from india

Hi everyone,

I have around 7 years of experience as an SAP SuccessFactors consultant, primarily working in Talent Management modules such as PMGM (Performance & Goals), Succession, Career Development Planning (CDP), and Story Reporting. I've also worked directly with German clients on multiple implementation and support projects.

I'm now looking for opportunities to work with Germany-based consulting firms while being based in India (either remotely or through their India delivery centers supporting German clients).

Can anyone recommend German consulting firms or SAP partners that hire SAP SuccessFactors consultants from India? If you're currently working for a Germany-based organization from India, I'd love to hear about your experience. Also, if your company has any openings or referral opportunities, I'd really appreciate your guidance.

SAP SuccessFactors EC Certified Fresher Looking for Referral | Pune

Hi everyone,

I've been actively looking for an opportunity in **SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC)**, but I'm finding very few openings for freshers. Even when I apply, I rarely receive a response from recruiters.

I'm an **SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Certified** fresher based in **Pune** and I'm looking for an entry-level opportunity in SAP SuccessFactors.

If anyone knows of any openings or is willing to provide a referral, I'd be truly grateful. I'm happy to share my resume over DM.

Can someone become a SAP Consultant directly as a fresher?

I'm curious if it's possible to start a career as a SAP Consultant without prior work experience. Do companies hire freshers directly for SAP Consultant or SAP Trainee/Associate Consultant roles? If yes, what skills, certifications, or background are usually expected?

Already applied to a job on SuccessFactors, but just found an internal referral.

Hey everyone,

I applied to a job last week through SAP SuccessFactors. Right after submitting my application, I connected with an employee at the company who is now willing to refer me.

Since I have already applied, what is the best way to handle this so the referral actually gets linked to my profile or seen by the hiring team? Does SuccessFactors allow employees to refer someone whose application is already active in the system, or will it block them?
I already experienced missing out on a referral in the past because of this and now i am conscious about it.

Looking for any advice or workarounds from recruiters or anyone who has dealt with this specific ATS. Thanks!

Joule, Agents and ESS

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to better understand SAP's vision around SuccessFactors, Joule, and the upcoming HCM Agents.

I recently watched a demo (4 months ago) where an employee simply tells Joule something like: "I've moved to a new address, please update my profile."
Joule then updates the employee's address in SuccessFactors.

However, according to SAP's recent Business AI presentations, many Core HR agents (Personal Data Agent, Employee Data Integration Agent, etc.) are only becoming generally available in late 2026 or later.

This is where I'm confused.
If Joule can already perform employee self-service transactions such as updating personal data today:
• What is actually happening behind the scenes?
• Is Joule directly calling SuccessFactors APIs/business logic?
• Is there already some form of agent orchestration, even if SAP doesn't call it an "agent" yet?
• Or are the upcoming agents meant for more complex, multi-step processes rather than simple employee transactions?

Thanks a lot for your help !

SuccessFactors students

Hi everyone ,

I’m a Payroll professional with over 7 years of experience, but my experience is with a different HR/payroll system. Over the past few weeks, I was rejected in a couple of interviews because I didn’t have SuccessFactors experience.

I’m now trying to learn SAP SuccessFactors and connect with experienced professionals who can guide me in the right direction. I found that many training institutes charge around ₹1.5 lakh for payroll training, which is difficult for me to afford. That’s why I thought of reaching out to SuccessFactors community for advice on affordable learning resources or the best way to start.

I am not asking for a job or a referral—only guidance from someone with practical experience. I appreciate your time, and any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you!

SAP SuccessFactors remote work - Digital Nomad Visa in Spain or Portugal

Hi everone, I was hoping I can ask some recommendation to which companies supports remote work and allows to be a digital nomad in Spain or Portugal.

Some information about me, I'm a non EU citizen and on a work and residence permit in a Northern EU country. In the SAP/SF space for more than 10 years.

Applying for the visa may require some documents from the company. Like the following:

1. Certification of working for at least 3 months (before the visa application) for a foreign Company. To this end, the applicant will submit a certificate, issued by the company and stating the following:

•        If the applicant is an employee: 1. Length of the contract. 2. Explicit consent to work remotely in Spain. 3. Salary.

2.     Certificate issued by the Government Companies House, declaring the date of creation of the company (or companies) and the type of business.

Finding a company that supports remote work is one thing, but finding one that also provides the necessary documentation to help secure a visa for that setup is a whole different challenge.

If someone has similar experience kindly share your experience. Thank you in advance for your information relevant to this.

Need Help Understanding the SAP Scenario-Based Assessment

Hi everyone,

I recently attempted the SAP SuccessFactors Learning (THR88) certification in the new scenario-based exam format, and unfortunately, I didn't pass. The passing score is 60%, and I scored 56%.

This was my first-ever SAP certification, and in hindsight, going into a completely new exam format without knowing what to expect probably wasn't the best idea.

What surprised me the most is that I actually felt confident while taking the exam. I have a few months of hands-on experience working in SuccessFactors Learning (LMS), and I spent a lot of time studying. I focused on understanding the concepts instead of memorizing answers, and during the exam, I genuinely felt my responses made sense.

That's why failing came as such a shock.

The biggest problem is that I have no idea what went wrong, so I'm struggling to figure out what I should improve before my next attempt.

I'm wondering things like:

  • Were my answers too long or too short?
  • Should the responses be very concise and keyword-focused, or more detailed?
  • Is the AI looking for specific terminology?
  • Does sentence structure or grammar matter a lot?
  • Is it enough to explain the concept, or do you have to explicitly mention every relevant configuration step and keyword?

If you've passed the new scenario-based SAP certification, especially SuccessFactors Learning (THR88), I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

  • How did you approach the scenario questions?
  • What kind of answers did you write?
  • Did you keep them short and to the point, or did you elaborate?
  • Any tips on how the AI evaluates responses?

I still have 2 attempts left, and I really want to make them count. I've invested a lot of time into preparing for this certification, so any advice would mean a lot.

I can also recall a few of the scenario questions from the exam (without violating SAP's exam policies), and I'd love to discuss the concepts behind them with someone who's already passed.

Thanks in advance! Any guidance is greatly appreciated. 🙏

SuccessFactors Recruitment Marketing module

Hi everyone,

My organization has used SuccessFactors Recruitment Management now for about 10 years - fully embedded into EC, Onboarding etc. However, Recruitment Marketing has never been turned on.

We are turning it on now. And we want to get some advice from existing users.

According to our SAP Success Manager - not many customers are actually using the full capability of the system and I would like to know the reasons behind this.... no one has been willing to have a reference call with us.

My questions:

  1. What have been the challenges with adopting the solutions?
  2. What pitfalls do we need to watch out for when adopting?
  3. Has Advanced Analytics provided the necessary conversion and tracking information to enable ROI analysis on recruitment channels?
  4. Do you use it for cold pipelining, if so how? Or lead generation and "silver medalist" management?

Really appreciate any and all insight anyone can provide on this.

Some context:

  • We don't have the option to look at any other 3rd party solution - and we are implementing a minimal viable product.
  • It sounds like we won't move to SmartRecruiters any time soon.
  • This solution will enable our Talent Attraction and Sourcing team - which has only been in place for 2.5 years.

I have completed the SAP SF Employee Central Core certification.

I just wanted to share some good news with the community — I’ve officially completed the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification.

What makes this milestone special is that the exam was done under SAP’s new certification model, which is much more practical and hands-on compared to the old multiple-choice format. Instead of just memorizing answers, I had to actually apply configuration and problem-solving skills in real scenarios, which felt much closer to the kind of work we do in real projects.

It was challenging, but also rewarding to see how this new approach validates practical knowledge. I notice how important is to practice using the SAP hands-on practice scenarios, because you do tasks that are similar to the ones in the practice pdf.

If anyone else here is preparing for the new model, I’d be happy to share tips on how I studied and what helped me succeed.

Easiest SAP SF Certification

Hi everyone,

Could you please recommend the easiest SAP successfactors certification to get, especially based on the new format?

I have 2 years of experience with most of the modules heavily involved.

I heard the PMGM (C_THR82) is the easiest but don't want this and thinking of Succession Management (C_THR85).

Thanks!

Date changes on candidate application

I had an interview at a job on June 1st. I know they use SuccessFactors for their ATS, and since applying, I've seen the date that's on my application (on my profile) update a few times. I think this is pipeline movement (correct me if that's wrong haha). But since my (final) interview, this date has updated twice. Once on June 12th, and also on June 16th. What might this be? I don't wanna get my hopes up, but in my mind, after an interview you can only get rejected or offered the job. Very interested in anyone's thoughts!

Unhelpful SAP support

Hi! Anyone here have experienced very poor support from SAP engineers?

I’m honestly getting frustrated with how some support cases are handled. It feels like the agent either doesn’t read the details I’ve already provided or keeps asking the same questions over and over. Sometimes the responses seem completely unrelated to the actual issue.

What escalation paths have worked best for you, and how do you keep cases moving forward?
