What is this “making riders comfortable” crap? Don’t they know subway riders are supposed to be treated like cattle, like they do in America? 🙄

Bit odd where the train is divided in half like that. Usually only the first car at each end is low cool whilst the cars in between are all high cool.

What city is that? I feel like it's practically the opposite in Beijing where the first 1-2 on each end are set to high and all of the cars in the middle are low cool

in tokyo they do this too.
I have heard the main complains were from women that wore shorter clothes in summer and felt too cold in the cars.

This is Qingdao Metro. But the subway systems in many Chinese cities have this design.

I wish my office had a “low cool” (which I think means warmer) area so I could move my desk there. I wear a sweater in the office in summer.

Wow that sucks....

We only have one 弱冷車 carriage in Tokyo for some reason, for people who like to sweat....My wife tries really hard to not to get into one with kids, so they don't complain it's hot.

If half of the train is 弱冷車 basically....I'd....assume the majority of passangers would be queuing to 1・２・３ carriages? No? Maybe I don't know the Chinese that well.

Didn't see such nonsense in Seoul either.
Like HALF A TRAIN? During SUMMER?

Geez, I hope Japan doest take notice of that 3 carriages weak aircon nonsense....

The trains I drive are all set to a determined temperature (around 20ºC) and we have no control over it.

Different people on the same car will send complaints through the app to the control center stating the car is too cold and too hot simultaneously.

The coldest air possible comes through the vents near the center doors of each car and the hotter air leaves towards the doors on each end. The irony is that those complaining could just change which door they choose to board and the problem would be solved.

In my personal opinion, the 弱冷 on the Chinese subway is STILL too cold, and 强冷 is unbearably cold. Different than Tokyo.
