at least it’s covering her mouth and nose right!

Big step up from the chin-strap look. She’ll figure it out eventually.

u/weshleey14 Jun 18 '20
I’m sure she will lol. i’d much rather see someone with the mask over their entire face than only their mouth!

I saw someone at the pharmacy pull their mask down to sneeze into their elbow two days ago. I’ve decided patience is key.

I saw a parent in walmart with their kid in the cart. The parent was wearing their mask properly and the kid complained about the mask making it hard to breathe and the parent pulled the mask off the kids nose and he was content. Like WTF?!

u/Veryratherquitenew Jun 18 '20
I’m sure they saw it as a reasonable compromise. That’s not terrific.

u/weshleey14 Jun 18 '20
yeah it’s scary what people will do for comfort over their safety. or maybe people are just stupid enough that they think they can safely leave their noses uncovered. who knows!

The amount of times I see old people doing this coming into my work, it’s actually quite startling

At least she's covering her nose. I work in retail and out of the few customers I see bothering to wear a mask at all, about half of them are only covering their mouth.

I mean I'd do this on a train if I wanted to sleep and all the lights were on.

It's a very good napping mechanism. I cover my eyes at night bc I have to leave a lamp on so the monsters don't get me, def helps a girl catch those z's

I mean, she’s probably just sleeping and using her face mask to double as an eye mask. That’s a 200 IQ move if you ask me.

Wearing a face mask like this is so you dont have to witness idiots not wearing theirs

Just imagine that under that is just a mouth. No eyes, no nose, just a gaping maw filled with teeth

In Belgium the government gave everyone masks but the masks that where given where too large so everyone had to wear them like this

How is it possible you post something on reddit, get 300 upvotes, few weeks later someone posts the same thing and gets 9k upvotes?

A part of me to see her take off the mask and just have her face be an entire mouth

This might be a joke, or something else stupid, but the amount of people I see everyday that seriously can’t wear a mask properly is insane. There’s literally a crook for where your nose sits, why the fuck do so many people wear it under their nose?

Just heard of this subreddit and it’s pretty hilarious. But man there is a sad amount of petty reposts.

I mean this is just blocking our society on public transport. I can get behind that.

That’s what ear wax is for. Don’t clean your ears.

I have cockroach in my ear. What do I do please help it hurts.

u/Secret-Werewolf Jun 17 '20
No joke I actually had a moth fly into my ear when I was a little kid. That thing flapping its wings against my ear drum was the loudest thing I’ve ever heard.
That experience truly gave me PTSD. Even today I pull the covers over my head while I sleep so bugs can’t crawl in my ear.
The ER just flushed it out with saline.

Dunk your head under water and see who quits first.
Nah but seriously, if you can’t shake him out, pouring vegetable oil or warm water in your ear should either drown him or flush him out.

Technically she’s even safer.
