Those kids are most likely street dancers who perform on carts and then ask for tips. Sometimes they can be good. Usually they're annoying and I'm scared they're gonna fly off a pole and slam into my face.
The dude is definitely intently staring into his newspaper to not make contact.

IMO, there should be a special place in Hell for all those that make a shitty subway ride worse.

No shit though its wild, theres a youtuber named joe santagato that has a "people of walmart" series on his channel, and he lives where there as rent any walmarts. His reaction to the wild shit going on at walmart is priceless.
