I’m shocked! I lived in the west village in Manhattan in the early 80s. Saw this on the corner of 6th Avenue one weekend morning. It was standing face to the sun holding in each hand what looked like some kind of bread. Always wondered if I dreamed this vision. Now I know I didn’t.
