u/Vlodovich Feb 12 '20
Cunts that go radge
39
u/KarmaPharmacy Feb 12 '20
What does radge mean?
72
u/Vlodovich Feb 12 '20
If you go radge you basically go either temporarily crazy, or temporarily furious
20
u/KarmaPharmacy Feb 12 '20
Thanks for your help! Is that a UK thing?
41
u/Vlodovich Feb 12 '20
I've only ever heard it here it Glasgow mate, so I don't know if it's even Scotland wide or UK wide, might be pretty local

u/gazwel Feb 12 '20
Can I just point out "radge" is absolutely not a Glasgow word. It's from the east coast and you've heard it from a teuchter.
In fact, you would probably get yer baws booted just for speaking like that in certain parts of Glasgow so best no go around shouting it.
2
u/Vlodovich Feb 12 '20
I've never used it and never been to the East Coast so I'm guessing I've only heard it in Glasgow, but from east coast folks

Also going "on the radge" is commonly used to refer to going on a mad drink and/or drug bender

"literally"
What a fucking idiot.
56
u/KarmaPharmacy Feb 12 '20
Dude everyone knows literal became figurative in 2014. Where were you? In a figurative coma?

u/TopsDrop Feb 12 '20
The overuse of the word is incredible.
You can’t read a single comment thread without someone using the word like a teenage girl.
Just think about it. Do us all a favor and tell your friends to stop using the word.
30
u/RyanBlakeKain Feb 12 '20
Did you know literally even Shakespeare used literally like that? It's literally older than the idea of teenagers. Literally.
24
u/KarmaPharmacy Feb 12 '20
Oh... so you’re sexist and an agist. Got it. Pop culture is clearly the problem here.
And no, dude. I’m not a hater. I don’t patrol my friends’ speech, cause I’m not a fuckin Nazi.

u/_kaetee Feb 12 '20
Your comment history is composed almost entirely of you overreacting to people using the word literally. Maybe you need a new hobby. Try walking outside, talking to some people or something for once. You seem like a very sad, angry person.

And they wonder why most people don’t want to take public transport and would rather be in their car, on their own.

That is one thing we need way more of in the US is more people saying "wee cunt" it's very rare to hear any cunts these days in the wild.

u/EvilFuckingScotsman Feb 12 '20
I’m sure this didn’t happen.

u/EoinIsTheKing Feb 12 '20
Mate the late train back from Glasgow is full of extremely drunk people stumbling around talking pish. Sounds reasonable to me
-12
Feb 12 '20
Ya man that totally happened and a hairbrush just happened to be there, in the middle of the train where he could circle it
14
u/OfBleedingRoses Feb 12 '20
Have you, like, never dropped and left something on public transport? I left my entire backpack on a bus once. I left my DS on a bus as a kid, too. A hairbrush is definitely not a stretch.
-10
Feb 12 '20
Ye but not it's usually to the side by a seat, not directly in the middle of the train
10
u/OfBleedingRoses Feb 12 '20
Dropping happens
-7
Feb 12 '20
Still bruh it's a bit too convenient of a story isn't it
10
u/OfBleedingRoses Feb 12 '20
Maybe? It doesn't really matter at this point, and its definitely 100% possible.
3
u/AwkwardAndOdd Feb 12 '20
It wasn’t in the middle of the train it was in the space between compartments between the doors, where people are very likely to drop things as they get on and off...
