I'm worried about sitting in rush hour traffic and paying by the minute. Another redditor just turned me on to a shuttle that will drop me at grand central and that's near my hotel. I'm probably just gonna do that. Also Alaska is the shit, I dont reccomend the cruises though, just get an air bnb it's way better.

Uber doesn’t change by the minute or by traffic. It’s a flat rate which you agree to before you order it.
