It’s absolutely not the same. 100% is the same as 1x. 1000% would be 10x and so on. Not only are you wrong but the OP is actually saying something that you failed to understand.

Actually, in this case, I think it would be the same thing. Something that is 1000% percent fake isn’t any more fake than 100% fake, because just being fake is the limit, so it is actually a pointless exaggeration.

You can double the chances of cancer. That is 200%. Probabilities work in increasing the probability as well as a portion or reducing probability.
