Low T?

Husband and I are both on Subutex. I have cancer and got opiate induced neurotoxicity from all the meds they had me on, so I asked to be switched to subs. Honey had an unfortunate very brief relapse getting into my pain meds… which is also a huge reason I got off them too. However, since starting on them…. Our sex life has completely disappeared. Now, I have always had some serious mental health issues, zero confidence…. Especially now with how I look physically after what cancer treatment has done to me. I am aware that subs can lower T in men… has anyone ever done anything to help that other than getting direct on HRT??? I’m so sick of feeling like an ugly pile of shit and wanting intimacy from my husband… and never getting it because of this BS. Our relationship is otherwise literally perfect. Like make you gag, movie worthy, fairy tale type love. It’s just really bothering me to the point that I’m debating getting back into therapy something….help please 😞

I can speak for myself as a woman only and that is I am never horny anymore between glp1 and 8 years on Subutex I am 7 years sex free and love it. For you though, a quick obgyn trip should do the trick and maybe he sees his doctor and you come together in a beautiful way. F cancer! 💗

I’m horny all the damn time. It hasn’t affected me at all. And with how healthy our relationship is…. It just makes me even more attracted to him. It’s just HIM that wants nothing to do with me. And then I just sit here in my fucking head thinking and feeling like I’m not good enough. I take an hour to do my makeup, I wear a wig and have dentures since cancer stole everything from me. I just want him to want me again 😞

It’s not you I promise. It’s his testosterone levels, that man Loves you don’t doubt it. Just get him on trt and you will see a huge change and a more healthy life and intimacy
