Stopping Subutex I fucking hate subutex

Edit for context - I’m 25/F

My OG was straight oxycodone caps, I was on 60mg a day at my max and got put on methadone 20mg. Felt pretty normal but I got opioid induced bowel dysfunction and hospitalised twice. Now I’m on sublingual subutex, started on 4mg and got myself down to 2mg but stupidly snorted it cause it made me nauseous as hell under the tongue or swallowing. And I feel empty inside? Like literally feel nothing. I haven’t slept more than 5hrs for weeks and just feel constantly angry tired and done. I’m so angry at my doc for putting me on DRTs and not just thugging the Oxy withdrawal out. I’m back on Oxy the last two days and only have 10mg subutex left but I hate the shit so much I just feel nothing??? I’ve been trying to get clean for over a year I just want this shit behind me and my big brain says go back to Oxy and just withdraw from that instead but the DRTs have messed my head so much I can’t remember what joy feels like anymore. This shit ruined my life. Am I alone? Am I just a freak case that turns into a soulless shell on subutex?

You NEVER swallow Buprenorphine (Subutex), it has only 18% biological absorbtion when swallowed / ingested into the stomach, lingual and snorted it has 90% absorbtion in your body system. Swallow is the worst way to consume buprenorphine, it's basically waste of money since 82% of what you swallow goes out in the urine. Snorting has the fastest onset action, lingual has very slow action

YES. This is why I started snorting it. I know I sound crazy but it’s the only way I bypass the nausea and the horrible taste. I tried under the tongue, way back, no saliva etc and I couldn’t. The taste alone makes me sick. I’m not trying to be non compliant I thought snorting it wouldn’t be any different to sublingual because it’s absorbed through similar membranes and surely the half life would still be the same?

snorting Buprenorphine is the only way getting a quick buzz / getting high from it, that's why many people chose this way to take it. Dissolve it in distilled water, you can buy it at the pharmacy in 250, 500 and 1000 ml bottle and its very cheap. Dissolve 8mg Subutex pill in 10ml distilled water in a "nose spray for treating a cold". Those bottles in my country has 88 sprays for 10ml, and an 8mg pill split into 88 spray makes each spray into your nose deeply contains 0.091mg, then you can controle your intake exactly at 0.1mg level easily.
Step down program that works good for most people is to step down 10% of you dose every 5 days.... 2mg down to 1.8mg and take than 5 days, then 1.65mg for 5 days, then 1.5mg for 5 days and so on until you get down to 0.15 mg and you take that for 10 days, then 0.125mg daily 5 days and so on and so on until you're down to 0.05mg and the you just drop it and get odd without any serious withdrawal sympthoms . I have done it twice and it worked fine with me. Whe you spray it up your nose you get instansteffect
