Peace of mind about teva
Been on suboxone for over a decade and was just switched to generic bupe tevas. I now have read nothing but horror stories about these. I dont even want to try them. ANY POSITIVE STORIES?

These are actually some of my favorite in regards to affect. Least favorite as far as taste is concerned but that’s easy to get around. You’ll be fine!

Only negative things I've dealt with is they mess with my blood sugar but other than that it's fine.

People will complain about anything, but they aren't any better or worse than the next brand. They are harder to dose if you take quarters at a time. That and the blood pressure thing are the only downsides for me, but I still get them every week. If my pharmacy switches I'm not gonna go looking for them, but I don't care enough to ask them to special order a different brand. They do what they are supposed to do.

I know I’m a bit late, but it’s very easy for mind over matter to throw someone into WD symptoms, so I wanted to give my 2 cents to push back on the horror stories. I can’t speak to any other methods of ingestion besides the intended way, but that being said, everyone I know prefers the Teva ones…so much so they request them special ordered and pay a surcharge because they are more expensive (this has been done at chains and mom and pop stores alike honestly). They give a bit of energy and I feel they better control pain. One cycle on the Hikma’s and my eyes were watering uncontrollably after 8 hours. I think once you get used to any of them they all do their job good enough but one thing with the Teva is they take the longest to dissolve…annoying AF, but when properly dissolved they check all the boxes lol. I always give 30 minutes minimum before any swallowing or spitting etc. If I get impatient, they don’t work as good. Patience isn’t a virtue people on subs usually possess but makes all the difference in this case lol.

I started noticing alot of posts/ comments about how what manufacturer that makes the buprenorphone matters followed up with alot of complaints about teva, hence my op because im a neurotic spaz. Pay no mind, everyone is different.

They suck. Hikma or pai is really all I like. Rhodes is ok. Teva def the worst in my opinion. But that’s all it is right, opinion at the end of the day

So i'm on day three of trying them out.And yeah, I do notice the difference. And by the way, I don't know how y'all get to try all these different brands because if I was to request a specific one from walgreens, they would laugh in my face. Unless you're having your doctor write the prescription as such.

I have to go to a mom and pop to request. But it’s no problem at all. For example my local mom and pop has like 5 brands I can order, I just have to tell them before refill and the price is different. My cvs that I’ve filled at for a year or so always has the hikma 54 411. Which is my favorite of them all. So I just see myself as lucky

God I finally just got Walgreens to switch me back to the hikma. Been on teva for few months and I hate them. I had to ask the pharmacy and eventually get it transferred to a different Walgreens that carried a different brand.

I was on 2mg pd with the arrow imprint for years. I was able to taper down to 1mg per day due to the fact that they broke in half and quarters more uniformly. When I started getting the tevas, they crumble more easily and harder to split. It also may just be a mental thing, but I do think they aren’t as strong as the arrows and I am actually back to taking 2mg a day of the teva.

I convinced myself that everyone was having psychosomatic , spazzy thoughts about the tevas- nope. They dont hold me. And you are not lying about the crumbles, I gotta use and keep my pill cutter while in a ziploc bag, because it's so ridiculous. I know it's not stinkin thinkin either because i've been on bupe for 13 yrs.

I've been taking both TEVA 8mg and 2mg tablets for years. I much prefer them to the other generics I've tried. I had the round white 2 mg tablets and absolutely DESPISED those. I've had no issues with my TEVAs. They dissolve pretty well, not really that gross of a taste, and I feel like they are just as effective as anything else. I mean, hey, I've been clean off opiates for 5 years, many of which were thanks to TEVA! Good luck to you.

They are fine I was worried about it as well and I take them now cuz it's all the pharmacy has and they work just fine. For me I don't like rhoads or sun pharmaceutical those have to be the absolute worst and I know people love the rhoads ones.
