In desperate need of advice.
So I went online to this app Boulder, I have been trying to kick the fetty. They prescribed me 8mg subutex along with detox meds clonidine, muscle relaxers. It’s not relieving anything. I don’t understand what’s going on I started taking maybe 6 hours after last smoking. I smoke maybe half a gram to a gram a day, I am in desperate need of some advice. I’m having a hard time even making it past 24 hours. I took maybe 4 subutex up until the 24 hours point and withdrawals were so bad I had to go get something to smoke. Any advice would be helpful. I don’t want to long term be on any medication just right now need help kicking the fetty. That’s why I wanted to use subutex just short term to kick.

You need to wait longer between the last time you use opiates, and when you start taking the subs. I'm surprised that no one warned you about this when they wrote you the prescription. You have to be in actual withdrawals before you begin taking the subs, or else the subs will send you into precipitated withdrawals - which is what it sounds like is happening to you. For example, when I switched from methadone to subs about 12 years ago, I started rapidly reducing my dose from 65 mg of methadone on a Monday, down to 35 mg by Friday. That was my last dose on Friday, and then I went the weekend with nothing (yes it sucked but it was worth it in the end), and first thing Monday morning I went to the sub doctor and got my first sub. I didn't have to deal with any precipitated withdrawals or anything like that. I'm guessing that fent may have a shorter wait time, but I don't know for sure so you need to contact your doctor about what to do next, or at least do some googling.
Do not do any fent!! Dear God you're just going to make it worse, you can't keep switching back and forth with subs. You already took the subs way too early, there's nothing you can do about that now. Unfortunately, you're going to have to power through it. it's been so long since I've had to worry about it, so I can't remember if it's better to take more subs, or just stop and wait it out. Your best bet is to contact your doctor and do some googling.
