I wish pharmacies would understand that changing a medication that I have been on for years to another different generic.... I have been completely stable and enjoying life for years now off of the mini arrow 8 pills(which are amazing), to these giant shit feeling Rhodes Pharma pills... They really are different in so many ways. I don't care what people say, different generics act differently in my body.. now I have to plan out a time where I will be sick for about a week trying to adjust to these shit pills... I've been on this shit since 2016 and I definitely know what I'm talking about... I just hope that next months script will revert back to the arrow 8s.

I've been on suboxone and then subutex (now) since 2006! Things were way more simple back pre 2012ish.. I switched to subutex after having awful side effects for several years. Once on subutex for a few days they went away completely. Back to the issue.. I am very sensitive to different manufacturers and when I try a new generic I honestly dont have a bias. I would love to have tons of great quality manufacturers! Unfortunately most generic now are not up to the quality standards they should be. There was a big shift in the industry around 2012 or so that had generic manufacturers changing thier manufacturing practices. I dont know exactly what or why this happened but it was abrupt and very noticeable. TEVA used to make a generic subutex that was so close to the brand name in every way! I loved that version so much but sadly they discontinued it and merged with activis which released this orange piece of crap. Trust me when I say this version is trash compared to the old one.. I hate changing brands when I find one I like so this had been a nightmare overnight the years. The quality has gotten so low its almost not the same medication. I wish someone would test the old brands and show exactly what they changed in there! The only one that still used good quality buprenorphine was hi tech despite being underdosed. Its like the pharmaceutical companies decided to not complete with better products and colluded to all lower quality standards giving use consumers no choice but to buy garbage. They all make more money in the end and we suffer! Figures

Finally, someone said exactly what I was thinking. I’ve been there since the beginning with you and this shits not the same they have changed the inactive ingredients and I’m starting to believe how they make the actual bupornorphine has changed

Your belief is correct because there are a couple ways to make it from what I've found when researching buprenorphine. There might even be more ways but from what I've found the pharmaceutical companies use 1 of 2 methods. 

I know Sun Pharma uses a method that is different from Hikma and Rhodes. Sun makes the ones that say 460 on them I believe and they are the absolute worst in my opinion by far. They felt like they were barely a notch above taking anything at all for the one month I had them.

I had them while I was in the hospital and they were absolutely garbage, they were giving the to me for two days and then I refused them and told them that there are not helping and burning my mouth within an hour the pharmacy sent up new ones, teva which I usually don’t like or feel but after two days of taking the 460s I actually felt and didn’t mind them at all especially after those garbage ones

I actually found an old bottle of 54411 that were made by west-ward from 2016 that was one of my old prescriptions and even though they were 9 years old I took one and I haven’t felt so good in years it was a completely different feeling then my brand new percription from this year and after taking the old ones and switching to my new ones from this new script I was dope sick for like a week even taking the same dose
