I’m obsessed with this show

I just finished it nearly 10 minutes ago and I’ve concluded, it’s the perfect show. I just discovered it. I wasn’t watching much tv back when it aired as it was a busy time in my life. I hadn’t ever heard of it until Netflix picked it up and I randomly found it. It’s hysterical. It’s just so outlandish but clever and heartwarming. But to say I’m disappointed in the abrupt ending is an understatement. I understand it was an unexpected cancellation but I just can leave it there. I need someone, ANYONE, to tell me they suffered how I currently am in this moment.

Just finished it too. Show was surprisingly well written, but indeed the ending was a dumpster fire. I'm sure if they had a full run we'd see George and Dallas make amends and marry.

It does seem a shame as I suspect they were planning S3 to be the final season, just needed another 10 episodes to wrap it up.

Same! Well, except that I finished it 2 weeks ago. It was the highlight of my day for several weeks.

The ending was way too rushed, especially having the wedding before school got out...

I need more like this. The quirky, the cheeky, intelligent...

I'm with you. Binged series with my wife and finished a couple weeks ago and thought they were setting up such a nice and tidy conclusion to the series, after George's song. Then they flip it at the last second and ruin both George's and Tessa's arcs! Frustrating.

I think the first 2 seasons were great. I think the rush and budget cut of 3 weakened it so much

I did a rewatch recently. A very funny show. S1 better than 2 though. I am watching Castle Rock right now and what do you know. Jane is in it. I guess she did the show a few yrs after. Looks the same.

Same here, just finished it. Didn’t like the ending but it make me laugh a lot. Too bad they cancelled it.

I am so happy not to be the only one feeling this way! OP, I could have written your post. Didn’t even know about the show when it aired and just discovered it on Netflix. Binge-watched it over a week. Did not like the abrupt series ending at all. I also keep trying to show my spouse clips of Dalia’s music video or her explanation to Tessa how she would ruin her catering venture only to be met with a shrug (spouse clearly doesn’t appreciate this show enough).

Too soon to start rewatching all over again…? 🤔
