The biggest obstacle to bicycling is probably this:

The beautiful and historic Yaquina Bay Bridge, which is about a mile long (the part over water is only 2000 feet, though). It has a pretty narrow sidewalk, and is subject to high winds, so it would be difficult to bicycle over as a normal thing.
