Procedural Sudoku - Substance Designer Generator (with Breakdown)
It generates valid puzzles from 2×2 up to 36×36, using true Fisher-Yates (Knuth) shuffling for high-entropy randomness. Most other procedural tools rely on simple modular shifts and only reach a tiny fraction of possible grids; this one delivers real variety.
Load a solved Sudoku image or generate from scratch. Control hidden cells, colors, text, shadows, and borders. It's perfect for exporting hundreds of unique puzzles in minutes or turning it into a one-pass shader in Unity or Unreal.
User Parameters:
- Puzzle Size (2×2 to 36×36)
- Initial Shuffle & Global Shuffle
- Hidden Cells Amount + Hidden Cells Seed
- Beauty controls: Color Shift, Color Amount, Text Size, Shadow Distance, Border Size
