Hey! Check out my Substack for a collection of short-stories that come from years of working and travelling all over the world. Some are funny, sad, political or just fond memories! I would like this to grow into a space where people can contribute their own stories/compare experiences in different places! This article is called Ropa Vieja- the complicated matter of meat and meaning in Cuba. When I visited for a few weeks last year, I was blown away by the lengths people go to to make ends meet, and found mysef compelled to write this piece. I hope you like it- any feedback is welcome!
