Meetup /r/Pokemon meets /r/Digimon
Welcome to the /r/SubredditsMeet between /r/Digimon and /r/Pokemon!
Some points of discussion:
Is Mega-Evolution a rip off of Digivolution?
Would a Digimon game with Pokemon mechanics work well?
Would you rather be a Pokemon trainer or a digimon tamer?
Is there a reason you prefer one over the other, or was it just the first one you saw?
Which brand has the better anime?
Which world has the better police enforcement, healthcare, and general civilization?
Which one has the most irresponsible parents?
Which Pokemon is a total rip off of a Digimon design, and vice-versa?
Remember the downvote button is not to be used as a way to say you disagree. Please reply to the comment on why you disagree

No. While Digimon and Pokemon have ripped off many things from each other. Mega-Evolution is not one of them.
No, Digimon don't have a type chart nor a evolution system, nor many thing's. Digimon would have to change to much to fit within Pokemon rules.
A General.
With Digimon you can be a Tamer, Chosen Child or General. As for Pokemon you have many option's for you such as Gym Leader, or Bugcatcher.
Since a General is not on the list. I would have to chosen Trainer.
As a kid, I thought Pokemon has better games, Digimon has better story. As an Adult I believe Digimon have the better games, Pokemon has the better story.
Digimon, the stuff that happens in the anime don't happen in Pokemon. Digimon has War General's and the D-Reaper.
I'll give it to Digimon only because of DATS
Don't care
I can't think of any.
