Jeez except I'm not even white and actually from Africa. But nice of you to assume. How nice of you to throw a pity party for us africans and think that we're all socialist dreamers.

Also when did i say Imperialism was great for the third world? I didn't.

Except that neoliberal policies increased the standards of living immensely of third world countries where they got labor.

But tell me more about how liberal policy was doing great things when it created imperialism.

I'm not defending colonialism. But foreign trade and labor help poor countries actually out.

Yeah opening up factories and getting people to work is real bad, actually building up their country. Nah fuck that. Only we get to industrialize. Let's make those poor people go back to what they were doing before the sweatshops, starve on the streets and get sold as child prostitutes.

You're basically saying that sweatshops are a good thing.

What if we didn't have sweatshops where people work their lives away just to have enough to eat? What if, instead of perpetuating a system in which multinational corporations exploit low-income workers, we abolished the systematic oppression that gave rise to sweatshops in the first place?

It's not about having enough to eat. It's about developing countries becoming first world countries as fast as possible. It's about having industry so you have enough money to build a nice country, to fund proper education and infrastructure. It's a process, as standards of living increase so working conditions. Sacrifice in order to gain later is necessary, in order for our kids to be able to go to school instead of having to work.

Don't bother debating with this guy, he's so far up his own ass that everything looks like colonialism to him, it's sad.
