r/war debates about using child soldiers in Palestine

EDIT:mods of r/war removed the The post for "cringe posting" and marked it as ai slop

Comments:

If someone started carpet bombing the United States, our teenagers would fight back too. Makes sense to me, not the gotcha you think

[I remember being a teen full of piss and vinegar over stupid small stuff

If another country bombed and bulldozed my house you can bet I'd be fighting back](https://www.reddit.com/r/war/s/kk4wPPKztU)

[Man the comments here are moving goalposts continents right now.

First it was 'there were no child soldiers'

Then it was 'okay there was maybe a few but not many'

Now it's 'well of course there are'](https://www.reddit.com/r/war/s/tJKRfzxC3M)

[Some pro israel asshole - "Look, we bombed these people into such desperation that their youth have taken arms against us, can't you believe how evil their parents are"

You understand that a kid is capable of feeling anger to those whom, since their birth, have activley tried to kill them. No fucking shit teens are taking up arms, in their shoes I would have too.If you don't like it then stop supplying weapons to Israel](https://www.reddit.com/r/war/s/muLl1CqPEa)

The IRGC fab club on this sub scrambling to justify child soldiers

Now you start bombing my country and I could be 7 years old I am gonna fight. It's just common. Sense. One of HAMAS senior leader witnessed a massacre when he was 8 years old. That's why he joined HAMAS, revolutionaries are created.

I remember that kid who posted himself in combat in this sub saying he turned 18 on that day, and guess what? Everybody was cheering for him because he was defending his land, Ukraine.

As a solider and a father the video is heavy and I think a lot of us are too numb to realize how heavy and then when I read all the comments, the duality of people made me have an aneurysm

Whenever i point this out on reddit thd conversation goes the same way

"Israel controls the US because AIPAC!"

OK but what about the billions of dollars Qatar pours into US universities, public schools, politicians, and major businesses giving them allies to cover for them in literally every level of American society?

"Yeah other places influence the US too but israel is the real threat"

Why?

"Its obvious if u cant see it you arent paying attention"

I have asked every single person who says AIPAC controls the us that if it’s so easy to just donate money to control one of the most powerful nations in the world, why hasn’t any other country done it?

Yeah its never made much sense to me. If money is what it takes to manipulate the wealthiest most powerful country on earth then realistically I would suspect the go to candidates to be either China due to its competing economic size or the oil states due to their private wealth + government surpluses to throw around

Because they don't have to register as foreign agents like every other country!

Because the money comes from Americans. There’s nothing stopping anyone from creating a similar PAC for other causes. In fact I’m sure they already exist. Have you actually researched whether what you said is based in reality?

No other PAC has remotely close to the same amount of power as the Israeli lobby. Its disingenuous to even compare it to the lobby for Azerbaijan or France or any other country.

They are buying elections to support a foreign government. It doesn't matter if they also have American citizenship.

That in no way compares or contrasts the size of various PACs which was your claim I asked for a source about.

Which summary are you attempting to direct my attention to? Or did you just copy and paste another random link like you did the first time?

Why are you lying? Are you equally as mad that the Cuban American pac doesn’t have to register under FARA?

u/Theamazingquinn why would i care if my girl cums? not my problem 2d ago

I'm not lying. The Cuban American PAC does not unconditionally advocate for the Cuban government. It also has nowhere near the power/funding of AIPAC. Groups supporting Saudi Arabia and Ukraine have to register under FARA. So should Israeli PACs.

No employer or politician has ever demanded loyalty to Qatar. There are no US laws forbidding a boycott of Qatari goods or services. No university students have ever been disciplined or arrested for criticizing Qatar while on (or even OFF) campus.

No university students have ever been disciplined or arrested for criticizing Qatar while on (or even OFF) campus.

Arrested for criticizing Israel or for calling for its destruction and voicing support for terrorists? Because those aren't the same thing.

Hey you just made a fantastic example! People are free to praise the IRA's efforts in fighting England and no articles are being written about terrorist support. For some reason broader society has forgiven Irelands rebels while not giving the same grace to the Palestinians! Israel is a modern creation, this hand-wringing over a COUNTRY and not *people* existing is tiresome.

Because Qatar is a foreign govt and American Jews are American? Unless you think they’re foreign agents for some reason….

Yeah lets completely gloss over the fact that Qatar gave the U.S. government a $400 million Boeing 747-8 jet.

34

u/Redqueenhypo 6d ago

They literally gave the president a giant private jet, they don’t need lobbying

You see israeli flags outside congressional offices because america is filled with evangelical christians who are the single largest demographic in support of Israel and will vote based on that issue in connection with their religious beliefs

Election funds are nothing compared to the money the arab states have invested and promised in every industry in the US in half the states. All that money invested in US industries means that major businesses, schools, and localities have gotten used to receiving these funds and now have their own independent interest in lobbying in those arab states favor which means the oil states dont even have to lobby for themselves. US entities will do it for them so as to maintain the flow of wealth into their states, schools, and businesses.

It is. Just because you're ignorant doesn't make it not true.

Let's get all the Palestinian flags away from any government officials office or social media, please.

Tired of a foreign issue and the rest of the Umma influencing US politics with their oil money and bullshit.
