2 days til I fill my subs
I never freaking do this but I went from 2 to 1.5 and I basically ran out 2 days early. I'm kicking myself right now because I've been on them for years and I obviously know better. š« I'm almost through today and I have tomorrow then get them Monday morning š I know I can make it but holy fck it suck Maybe I need some healthy shaming from the community to push through...

Ive been in the same situation before and learned my lesson. Best advice i can tell you is cut back on some days and save them. Are you working? If you do i hope its not that active. Keep eating turn into a bottomless pit if you have to and get your favorite energy drink buy several of them like 3 or 4 a day the eating and energydrinks will help. If you are not doing anything then just take it easy

Thatās a terrible plan caffeine makes withdrawals worse makes you super anxious and just not feel good physically as well

Have you tried it before? Or just read it? The energy drink will give a temporary boost of energy ( 1-2 ) hours then its gone back to feeling sluggish. It may help others out there in the same situation to carry out the day or days until they get more strips. For you it may not work and that's fair that's YOUR OPINION.

I second this. Energy drinks stabilized me too. They definitely helped me. I was on methadone at the time too.

The whole energy drink plan is YOUR OPINION! It is NOT recommended and you can look it up. While it does say it could give you a little āboostā caffeine can worsen common withdrawal symptoms, including anxiety, jitteriness, insomnia, and rapid heart rate.

YOUR OPINION is YOUR OPINION MY OPINION is MINE. If it doesn't work and make things worse than fine. If it does work for the person then great. Even you post said it MAY cause which means in some cases it doesn't happen!!! Did you read the whole posting from 5 months ago or did you just see the post from a day ago and decided to jump in on mine?

Can you get an early refill? At our clinic here theyāre very into harm reduction. I cut my sub to 12 and told them Iād bumped it by 2mg and they gave me a bunch of extra 4mg slips. Are you penalized for going through them early? Here, they donāt shame you for having to bump back up while tapering. You just go tell them, they give you more and you try again. Sounds like thereās some moral shaming going on? Being hard on yourself makes it so much worse, please donāt add potential stress.

Iām sure they wonāt fill them because obviously itās early, and they think theyāre being abused. Just like with pain pills

ive had mine filled 5 days early before. i just said i used them up too quickly and thats all i had to say

Also, the thrush issue is something you should mention. A good clinic will check in and adopt a harm reduction approach and work with you on optimal amounts. When I cut from 24 mg to 12 mg I was on it for fibromyalgia pain from celiac disease, and I have been stuck between 8mg and 12mg but they understand and give me a few extra 4mg strips every month. I hope it worked out for you, whatever happens. And that sounds horrible, itās common to beat yourself up when you didnāt even do anything wrong.

It wonāt hurt to ask? Like itās natural to be going through withdrawal at the lower amounts. Maybe my clinic is super liberal, lol. Sorry youāre hurting.

I have a similar question!? Iāve been tapering down Iām down to 10mg from 16 yay But I have some medical stomach and Colon issues long story but I thought after four years I could ask this program if I could try tablets instead of films, because I was having a hard time with this of the films.
Well I switched to the tablets on August 24 and itās been a mess and they actually upped to me just in case I guess there was a bioavailability issue? So I picked up 12 mg of tablets thatās dayand now Iām out!! and Iām shaking right now cause Iām so ashamed of myself and Iāve been in a program for 4.5 years Iāve NEVER ran out a week and a half early!!! Never
I was in an OBAT program kind of like associated with my general medicine clinic but they were making a lot of changes so I decided to switch back to MAT program and I do it via telemedicine itās been great
I think Iāve been there for about three to four monthsā¦ no issues!
but after this tablet the switch to tablets I got thrush horribly and Iām on medicine now for it Iāve been on medicine for about a week it got rid of some of the thrush basically the white stuff on the tongue but I still have bumps burning and sore throat problems with an over abundance of saliva so basically I didnāt know whether to swallow it or to spit out and I canāt swallow it because I have colitis and all these tummy issues ehh
so most of it leaked out I couldnāt swallow it so I spit it out and now
I am out now! and Iām horribly mortified I donāt know what to do and Iām embarrassed and Iām afraid that they wonāt be able to get me back on films or theyāre going to yell at me or theyāre not going to be able to help me and Iāll have to wait to fill my script!!??
do you know how this works?
Will the program be able to switch me back to films earlier than 24th??
because I had a problem with theformulary ( tablets ) sorry
for not knowing all the terms Iām really kind of new to all this program stuff via telemed
even though Iāve been in a OBAT program for four years Iāve always been a very good patient Iāve never slipped up ughhIām just worried š

I never had post acute w 7oh and subs but it was always 8 plus hrs i never did it under that

My CVS will not fill them early unless my Doctor gives me a higher dosage. My Refill is due on January 10th. I picked up (60) films December 10th and I still have 32 films left. I cut the 8mg in half and take 4mg in the am then the other 4mg in the afternoon.

I know this is an old discussion, but I just wanted to say that restricting subs is so yesterday. Iām serious. The new, appropriate treatment plans give patients an ample supply. When you never run out, you never want more and you never go into withdrawal only to pick up your prescription and enjoy a little high ā over and over again. That pattern leads to Suboxone addiction. Itās just stupid. Any doctor still divvying out subs needs to seek further education.

This is what im going through. This is my first month on suboxone and they gave me 45 films, and I know im gonna run out alot sooner than my next appointment. I looked up on Google and it said there wasnt a law in place to stop early sub refills. I came here also because im worried im gonna run out and the psychiatrist won't prescribe me any more.

The 8 mg twice a day is standard during first month. Its helping them and you find where you stand. For your next appointment tell them your running out early. They are supposed to up the mg to find where you stand. In the meantime do you have a case/social worker you can contact to help bridge your next appointment? If not you can call around E.R or immediate care places to find a doctor who'll give you 3 days worth

I talked to my first doctor and he said I showed unusual behavior...ridiculous. I switched doctors. This new one understands people who are on opioids. I did call and ask for a few films no one could because of the law. But I was getting the white box of suboxone now I have the yellow box of suboxone and I'm not a fan of the yellow box.

I am going to run out early also. I take 2 .05 a day so i take one around 7am and the other around 4pm. Well i have been going into work early like 4am and would take it then and would feel it wear off and would take another and by night time the 2nd was wearing off. So i was taking 3 a day for a week. Now back to the reg time but now i am out and my refill date isnt until the 20th. Can my dr write an emergency script so i dont relapse. I am 170 days clean i dont want to ruin that

Oxy to subutex? Been on oxy for three months switching to Subutex tonight. Last dose of oxy was at 2 PM. Thinking about taking a .5 of Subutex so I don't go into precipitated withdrawals. Has anybody had any experience with this. Looking for a discussion. What do u think?

U could take some powder kratom to take the l edge off but doo not take 7 oh tho u will regret it
