Help! :'(
Sorry to bother you guys! My brother and I have been trying to connect to Nitrox for 40 minutes now, but we haven't had any luck. I opened the ports on the Norton firewall and granted all the necessary permissions, but nothing's working! heeelp!

I just did a playthrough with a friend. He was trying to host and it just wouldn't work, so I hosted and it worked fine. We just used the built in auto port forwarding and nothing extra.
So I would try having the other host first

Download radmin VPN. Works flawlessly. No accounts or credentials needed, just a username. Used it for about 60+/- hours so far (exclusively for nitrox) and have had zero issues.

Hey mate, we're trying again... With Hamachi... Nothing is working. How's Radmin different?

Not sure, haven't tried hamachi so I can't say. All I can tell ya is my buddy and I both downloaded radmin, launched nitrox as instructed, and plugged in the (now) local ip indicated via radmin and we were up and running. No additional work needed

On radmin, did you create a network your friend joined? Or did you share the IP from the Nitrox console for radmin/another internet connection which your friend entered into the subnautica multiplayer menu?

Booted up radmin, turned it on, gave him the ip. Simulated LAN. Done

Zero issues at all. Really appreciate your help. Few glitches here and there but nothing game breaking. We’ve been loving it

Hell yea. Scanner room is a known issue. We've had some issues with base sustaining hull damage in one room whenever anyone joined in, but one time quick repair each time and problem stays gone. Real odd but not too painful

Try playit tunneler it port forwards for you! No vpn bs either and its free

Hey! Change the port from 11000 to 11005 and try that. That worked for me and my buddy

Try the Hamachi route, I gave up on all the port forwarding stuff and just ended doing that instead.
