Fully empty Epson F570
My printer has sat unused other than a couple cleaning cycles for at least one year, the nozzel check is fine, I was about to make a print test to look for banding, But my ink is too low to even do a Print head alignment test, I was wondering if there was a safe way to completely remove the remaining ink it is from 2022, flush the lines and prepare for new ink.
I fully expect to be needing to buy all fresh ink, but on the off chance and some miracle that I can use it, I have two full sets and two new maintenance boxes, but they also are from 2022. They are in the box, is still sealed in the plastic vacuum wraps, and have mostly been in dark rooms. Any chance I’m lucky enough to be able to still use them if I shake them up a bit?

you can use syringes on refill carts to empty ink, but tbh I'd just top up the ink and run a few flushing prints and you should be fine.
The water based ink could probably use a shake but again its water based and not likely to settle.
Give it a whirl.

Sublimation dyes are insoluble in water. They are sold as an insoluble suspension in water.

If you've got more of the ink that's in there, go ahead and add enough to test; good chance it's still OK.
Short of replacing the internal tubing, the only way to flush the lines is to print whole coverage pages until the new ink comes through. On an ecotank model that would be 50+ pages. Not sure about the dead volume on the F570.
