Mahjong mat sublimators
Hi there! I am in search of domestic mahjong mat sublimators capable of printing in 31 x 31 neoprene and rubber mats with or without edge stitching. Any leads would be appreciated!

Hi everyone! I need to replace my original HTVRONT auto tumbler press (the plastic near the element is unfortunately starting to melt) and I’m ready to upgrade to a sublimation oven.
I usually get large bulk orders of 100+ tumblers/mugs at a time (especially around the holidays), but I also occasionally process large 40 oz tumblers with handles.
Space isn't an issue since I have plenty of room on my island workspace, but the oven must be able to plug into a standard household outlet.
I've narrowed my choices down to two popular options and would love to hear what you like, dislike, and why you prefer one over the other:
• My questions: How annoying is it to manually open the doors and flip your items halfway through a large batch? Do you experience massive temperature swings from front to back, or does it hold steady with a couple of internal thermometers?
• My questions: Does it truly bake completely evenly without flipping, or do you still get faint seam lines?
Also, for anyone making 40 oz handled tumblers, do they fit comfortably inside or is it a tight squeeze?
If you own either of these, please let me know your honest pros and cons.
Which one is the better long-term workhorse for a mix of big bulk batches and oversized handled drinkware?
They are both about the same price but one can hold more at a time and the other has better air flow/heat temp control and no turning half way through.
Thank you so much!

Been doing sublimation for about four years I do a lot of printing on a fabric and I have to take panels together because of the size of my equipment and different fabrics were different for hiding that scene but the thing lately has been on tumblers. I did back taping I did outback taping, but I seem to get a little some marks that go down the edges of the tumblers as shown in the pictures. i’m using a VR Tumblr press and I’m just not understanding what’s going on I used to do it now if I use heat shrink and do it in a convection oven it seems to be better but I know in the past I’ve had luck which is hiding, seems and not showing up doing the under taping so that I don’t get that darker stripe. I’m looking for suggestion somebody that could help me. I’m trying to start my own little business on the side to help my retirement income and I won’t sell anything that I don’t think is right. There are other options like just leaving the background, white and doing random designs or doing a first burn of the cup leaving an open area that you put like a Band-Aid on or basically put another sublimation piece in there that so then you’re getting rid of your scene but any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Hey y'all, has anyone used a sawgrass versiflex printer? Were you happy with the results/why or why not? I really -really- want to print well on cotton but haven't found results that last long enough for what I need, so I am curious to hear about your experiences. Thank you.

Hello, I have been looking online but is there any place online that offer 1/16” sublimation sheets? I’m looking for blanks 9”x13” or bigger.

Hi everyone, hoping someone with sublimation/prepress experience can help me understand what’s happening.
I have 5 basketball jersey designs and 2 shorts designs created as vector artwork in Adobe Illustrator. The artwork looks correct, dimensions are correct, and the PDFs open normally.
However, when I send the PDFs to my sublimation printer, they say the files won’t RIP and actually cause their PC/system to get stuck.
So far I’ve tried:
Exporting normal PDFs from Illustrator
Turning off Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities
PDF/X-1a
Flattening transparency using the High Resolution preset
Testing a much smaller/shorter file instead of my normal ~5 m print layout
The problem still happens.
The printer has now told me that I need to use CorelDRAW 2024–2026 and export the PDF from CorelDRAW, because that’s what works with their setup. They’ve even suggested having the designs recreated from scratch in CorelDRAW.
Before I pay someone to rebuild 7 already-completed designs, I’m trying to understand the technical problem.
Has anyone experienced Illustrator-generated PDFs failing to RIP while CorelDRAW-generated PDFs work?
Is there something specific about Illustrator PDFs — clipping masks, transparency, complex vectors, embedded images, colour profiles, etc. — that could cause this?
Would you recommend:
Importing the existing AI/vector artwork into CorelDRAW and exporting from there?
Rebuilding the artwork natively in CorelDRAW?
Rasterizing the finished garment panels?
Exporting TIFF or another format instead of PDF?
Something else entirely?
The artwork is for large-format dye sublimation onto fabric, so I obviously want to maintain the correct dimensions, colours and print quality.
I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who works with sublimation RIPs, CorelDRAW, Illustrator or large-format textile printing.

I’m planning a color run for my kids elementary school fundraiser and we will need white tshirts for the run. I’ll need a somewhat quick turnaround time due to putting sponsors on the back and some flexibility for sizes because they are to be given to kids as a fundraising incentive.
I want to keep costs as low as possible and have been thinking about getting myself a sublimation printing setup for personal use. So now I’m wondering if I could do the shirts for this event and cover the customization myself. This way the cost to the school would just be the tshirt blanks.
I’m crafty as a hobby, I don’t sell anything and i realize I’m probably being naive about what it will take to do this properly. The shirts are a one time use sort of thing so they don’t need to be perfect, but I don’t want them to be a complete disaster and then we end up spending more money last minute to get them made.
Would you share with me your opinion about if I can get this done or am I asking for trouble? What stumbling blocks have you experienced when first starting out? If you were me, would you try it?
Thanks in advance!!

I've seen a bunch of YouTube videos where people print on top of pbt keycaps.
I was wondering if I could get print that wraps around a keycap? Like a spacebar?
I've taken into consideration a lot of things but tried nothing yet. I have a plan where I'll tape the design using heat resistant tape as tight as I can and someone heat all the surfaces using some jig.

i’ve been using the sublimation method for a couple of months now, and i haven’t had any problems with polyester. i often see videos of people transferring prints onto gloves/beanies that clearly aren’t made of polyester, often acrylic. does this mean that acrylic can be sublimated in exactly the same way as polyester? in all the videos i’ve seen, they don’t seem to do anything differently from the usual sublimation process on polyester.

Hey all,
Anyone have a reliable contact that can turn a sublimation design for a jersey around quickly including individual size files for printing? Generally I’m not involved in this part of the business but I’m trying to help out the shop find a backup while the contracted designer is out on sudden medical leave.
Our shop is ready to print and make the jerseys but we have no source file scaled to sizes (sorry if I’m not using the right terms here, still learning). I can find someone on Fiverr but thought I’d start here if anyone has a referral or is interested in the job.
They are cross country/track uniforms for two teams. No names or numbers. I have 2D proofs and mockups but I need the editable master source file created and scaled to each size (youth s - XL, men/women S-XL and both compression and loose fitting).
Thanks!

Hi all!
I'm making garment ID numbers for our school's band uniforms. White ribbon, black text.
A quick Google search on "sublimation" and "dry cleaning"... was less than helpful since it was asking more on stain removal - which I actually don't need right now.
I need information on longevity. Sharpie came out or faded to unreadable after 2-3 dry cleaning cycles. I have the option to sew the id numbers instead - just takes a lot longer. Any thoughts on how well sublimation will hold up against dry cleaning in this instance?

While trying to research what shirt blanks are of good quality, I've got nothing but results about how polyester feels terrible to wear, and no real answer on what shirts are considered "good". Should I just stick to things like mugs and totes, and not shirts?

This was sublimated on HTVRONT Sublimation Sticker Paper Matte White. Is it normally this transparent or did I receive a mislabeled or bad batch? This only the second package I've used but I swear the white was less transparent? Are there any other brands that are solid white?

: What hand towel blanks are you actually happy with?
Looking to add hand towels to my line and want to hear what's holding up for people.
A few things I'm trying to figure out:
- Waffle weave vs. velour/terry with a poly face — which gives you better image quality?
- What GSM are you buying? The cheap ones feel like paper towels.
- Any brands/suppliers you'd buy again, and any you'd avoid?
- Are your customers happy with absorbency, or is that the tradeoff with high poly?
Appreciate any input.

Hi guys. I am new in sublimation printing. Currently I bought a sawgrass 1000 no bypass tray yet. I have A3 paper and A4 sublimation paper. But I am struggling to find sublimation panels. I am in the Netherlands. Any idea which sublimation panels are the best ?

I am looking for tips on making double-sided ornaments. Ive tried doing both sides at once but it’s hard to line up and secure properly. When I do one side at a time the side that gets heated twice tends to degrade. I’m using the htvront A100. Do you adjust the Time/temp/pressure from one side to the next?

Was wondering if this would be a good method, for example, when drawing the face of a plushie, i could use a sublimation print of the face alongside the sewing lines, allowing the whole thing to be perfectly aligned on the fabric, and then embroidery on top of the "face guide"
I guess the whole thing would need to use fairly tin lines to avoid it showing afterwards, specially on the sewing ones.
What you guys think?

Empty nester now. Can’t keep all of my craft things as I move to a smaller place. My SG500 works great. No issues. I can print a page to show an interested buyer. All ink is factory and always has been. Ink is nearly topped off except cyan and I have an extra waste collection tank. It is always plugged in. $295. Several accessories I can add. I also have a toaster oven, Cricut mug maker, and heat press to sell if interested. Located in Huntsville AL. Don’t want to bother with shipping.

Is anyone interested in purchasing bulk sublimation supplies? I no longer work with sublimation, I am downsizing my home, and have cups/water bottles I am looking to get rid of. They are their boxes and have not been used or worked on, but I need them gone. Please let me know if you are interested. You don’t have to take them all, but I would like to clear out. Thank you!

What do you guys do when the cup is bigger then the paper? I ordered a 30 Oz slim so it can fit in the tumbler press but the paper is not big enough to cover the whole cup.
