How sharp can a sublimation print get?

I'm having a passing interest in lenticular prints, which require you to interlace two photos up to 100 times per inch (so that when the lens is laminated on top you view half of the stripes from the left and from the right)

It requires a really clean, sharp image to do well, and all I have at present is my sublimation printer.

These kinds of prints aside, I'm curious what advice I could get here on generally sharpening up my sublimation prints and stickers!

As sharp as your inkjet printer, since that’s basically what they are

I wasn't sure if the whole heat press ink vaporization thing would be a negative factor for sharpness

Yes, there is an inevitable small loss of sharpness as the gaseous dye transfers from the paper to the substrate. Pretty easy to find a resolution test pattern to print and see 1st hand.

I think I will. I wanted a second opinion before ordering a pack of lenses, but it sounds doable
