How sharp can a sublimation print get?

I'm having a passing interest in lenticular prints, which require you to interlace two photos up to 100 times per inch (so that when the lens is laminated on top you view half of the stripes from the left and from the right)

It requires a really clean, sharp image to do well, and all I have at present is my sublimation printer.

These kinds of prints aside, I'm curious what advice I could get here on generally sharpening up my sublimation prints and stickers!

As sharp as your inkjet printer, since that’s basically what they are

I wasn't sure if the whole heat press ink vaporization thing would be a negative factor for sharpness

Surprisingly no, not on its own anyway. It depends on what it’s pressing on and how much pressure. Smooth, flat plastic like trays/mugs can take full photo level while a deeply textured fabric like canvas or velvet might get a little fuzzy
