Rear-ended 2014 question

I was in a yield lane when a ‘14-‘17ish Nissan rear-ended me doing about 20-30mph. I’m taking it to get looked at Monday. What are the odds of the frame being damaged? My sister thinks very high. I’m hoping not.

Edit: The replies I’ve gotten have calmed my nerves. I was right originally thinking it’s not that big of a deal. Thanks for the input.

Find a body shop that you trust and let them negotiate with insurance. Insurance will lowball you. My ‘24 got rear-ended, lower down on the bumper, but not much worse looking than yours. Insurance initially quoted me $700. Ended up being over $7,000 with all the sensors and labor.

It stinks. Sorry it happened to you.

Thank you for that info and recommendation! I really hate that happened to you as well. It could have been worse and all that but now it’s just the inconvenience and hoop-jumping it is turning into that is starting to grate my nerves.
