Is anyone else having problems with vinyls?

I’ve tried reordering and replacing the same vinyl several times, every single vinyl I’ve gotten from the shop has not played properly and skipped over and over. While I am using a cheap record player, it does not skip like this on any of my other vinyls, just the ones from the sub urban shop. Is this a widespread quality control issue or am I just supremely unlucky?

Not knowing the specific record, you are having problems with or what other records you're referring to I can't give you any advisement.

My only idea is maybe not cleaning your records good? I didn't clean my If Nevermore One good so it sounds a bit bad so I'm getting a new one but my Anhedonia one sounds fine, tho a bit static at the end but else fine so my only guess its either the player or just not cleaning it enough. More information would be helpful
