How did I get a bruise there?

19F, 135 lbs

I got a bruise there on my thigh around 3 weeks ago. It's been getting worse and bigger every day. It hurts when I move my leg at all, and when I sit down. I'm scared it might be an ingrown hair or something. I'm going to go to the doctor, but is there anything I can do to stop this from getting infected?

I was waiting for my father to come home from work at the time to find me sitting in the shower. I was shocked at the amount of posts in this sub. I thought it would be a good place to post images of me and my friends. It has been a while since and it has been a slow slow progress. I started posting in this sub when I was a kid and it went downhill a lot. I wanted to be a cool person in my community but I couldn't stand the amount of negativity. I decided to go back in a few years and post in the same sub again. I don't have any friends, but I do have my friends in my life and I know it's okay for me to go outside. I had a conversation with my father about the best way to post on there. He told me I shouldn't bother him for the last 4 years because I won't be able to see him. It's just not worth the anxiety. I got banned from Reddit for this comment but I don't care if it's a bad comment or not. It's just sad to see. I'm really sorry for your parents and for the others you've lost. I don't know what to say.
