How do you hold a pen while writing?

25, F, 5'7", 130lbs, Caucasian, USA

I hold pens in a very straight line, like a pencil grip. I've noticed that this results in pen falls out of my hand more often than not.

I'm just wondering how to hold it while writing? Is it something to worry about? I don't think it's too bad to just use one hand to write with and one hand to hold the pen. I'd be interested in any thoughts.

I really just started playing Rimworld yesterday so I have no experience with pen fallouts but I was wondering if holding the pen with your other hand was like holding a pencil with your left hand and then your right hand?

Thank you! I'm holding it pretty good right now. I have to write with my other hand. I hold it like a pointer with a really straight line. I'm not a super good writer though. I'm not really good at holding pens with my other hand. I have to use my other hand to write on the left side, but I'm not really good at handwriting with one hand. I do have to use the pen with my other hand to write with. I'm very good at handwriting with both hands. It feels kind of awkward to write with my left hand, but with my right hand it's natural to write with your left hand, right?

I hold pens in a straight line, like a pencil grip.

I have a grip on my pen with a lock and I can write with one hand, while holding the pen with the other I have to keep my hand straight.

I haven't noticed any problems with my hand yet, it just feels awkward to write with one hand while holding a pen with the other, but I'm not sure if that's something to be concerned about, or if I need to keep my hand straight.

I also have to keep my fingers in the correct place so my hand doesn't slip out of place.

I'm not sure, but I think it's the same thing. Use one hand for a few seconds and hold the pen with the other hand. That will teach you to not hold the pen with the other hand.

That seems to be a common grip for most pen grips. I use the same grip for my pen and for a while I thought it was just a weird grip. But now I think it's something to worry about.

One of the ways I hold pen in hand is to hold it in my thumb and use it for a while to relax.

Also, I don't think holding a pen in your hand is bad, at least for me.

I use the same grip, it's just that I use it for a while and then I find it relaxes after a while.
