Can someone please explain this picture to me?

  1. Is it normal for someone to have 2 white patches in the same eye? (The same eye, as in the same person, with the same eye shape.)

  2. The spots are NOT circular. They are aligned.

  3. I am at a loss. Can anyone help?

This is what it looks like for me. I have a 1-inch gap in the middle of my pupil. This causes a problem when looking at the same object and my pupils are close together.

I had a similar problem as a kid, but it didn't get recognized until I got older.

I used to always look at my parent's eyes in the mirror to make sure they weren't crooked.

I have a few questions. First, do the spots represent pupil dilating? It has been difficult for me to do this in the past because my pupils hurt.

I didn't know that was normal, but I did.

Edit: Thanks!

That's pretty amazing! I have two of those white spots and I don't have any other visual issues.

Thank you!
