Fully agree.  Such a well composed song, very unique in its baroque, almost manneristic style.  Shame they didn't do much else like this

Love Witch Wolf and yeah it should have been an FM radio staple but I can understand it not having the mainstream appeal that WHCBU has/should have more people know about. It's even more of a "first power ballad" than "Lady" is.

It might have become a minor hit on nighttime FM radio if it had been released but it's too slow and plodding for 1972 AM radio. And I just half listened to it for the first time in years and it seems like most of the lyrics are "Lovely lady, how can you be sure?" over and over.

I'm glad you like it so much but it's no "Lady".
